Mittelman, Ph.D., is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at New York University and Director of Psychosocial Research and Support at the NYU Silberstein Institute of Aging and Dementia Research. She lives in New York. Cynthia Epstein, ACSW, counsels caregivers both privately and at the NYU Aging and Dementia Center and is herself a caregiver for her mother, who has Alzheimer’s.
